The important of omega 3 for babies and children

As we know that omega 3 rich of DHA, DHA is very good for brain and eyes development for babies and children. Omega 3 is a family of long chain fatty acids are polyunsaturated, which are essential nutrients for health development. Unfortunately fatty acids omega 3 is not produced by the hunsn body, and must fully obtained from external sources which are foods or supplements.
The important of omega 3 for babies and children

The study showed that the most advantages from omega 3 fatty acids is EPA ( eicosapentaenoic acid ) and DHA ( decosaehexaenoic acid). Although EPA and DHA naturally work together in the body, but stuides show that each fatty acid each hane unique benefits. EPA is useful to support the heart, immune system and the inflamantory response, while DHA is useful to work of the brain, eyes and central nervous system. Moreover, the other study showed that mothers who consume enough omega 3 lower risk affected by postparium synndrome, namely fluctuations in mood changes after giving birth. They also will quickly recover.

Omega 3 for pregnant women is needed during third trimester. It cause, at this time the brain weight baby in the womb grow rapidly into 2 1/2 times that of the previous. After baby' s born, brain continues to grow into a 1 3/4 times when entering the age of 1 year and development continues until the age of 2 years.

Because the rich benefits of omega 3, experts urge pregnant women to consume omega 3 200-300mg per day. We can get  omega 3 from several food such as mother milk. Mother's milk has an high content of omega 3, therefore breastfeeding is very important for brain development. For pregnant women suggested eating fish, such as Atlantic Salmon, makarel, tuna, sarden and pacific herring. Besides that, omega 3 is also founf in eggs, supplements and milk formula containing omega 3. Given the magnitude of the benefits of omega 3 for children and infants, don't forget to paste foods containing omega 3 in your daily meal menu.
